W H Y

Mainly born as a modelling exercise for new tools implemented by Fstorm render.

WHAT

I chose to model a speaker I own, in order to have a convenient reference for immediate visual feedback.
The shape and the various details made the modelling challenging. 

HOW

The speaker was modelled with 3ds Max. I chose to use the “geopattern” tool instead of a simple texture to be able to replicate the fabric in its true geometry.
